This is kinda crazy, unless WSJ is wrong (always a possibility). Not because Minecraft might not be worth that amount of money, but because the article doesn't mention the game being part of the deal. They only mention MS buying Mojang. Yes, Mojang is developing the game. Yes, Notch owns part of Mojang. But Mojang does not own Minecraft. Notch still OWNS THE IP (well, a separate company of his) and collects a licensing fee from Mojang. Unless that licensing agreement is structured to last in perpetuity, this could have the most hilarious outcome.
