So For those that don't know why Radiant Silvergun is so dope is... Because its a SHMUP, but kind of like a puzzle game, and also kind of like Virtua Fighter with how the weapons work. You only have 3 buttons, but those pressed in everywhich way give you all of your moves...
This is two thursdays from now. To me Radiant is the Best SHMUP, last year I sold mine for $260 to pay rent.
Drag is right, Earth Defense Force IS the game you are looking for; playing by your self not so much fun.... But with a friend = many great hours.
Being somebody at Giant Bomb, I'm sure you've played Borderlands...
Lost Planet 2 is split screen co-op, but you have to like LP to like it, I think its pretty great. Something me and the wife played a lot are some Dynasty Warrior games, yes they are all same-y, but pretty fun in co-op.
Also Marvel Ultimate alliance and L4D2.
Eternal Sonata and Tales of Vasperia are co-op if you looking for something different.
