Ben, nice! I was wondering if he'd show up on any GBE content when I heard he was in NY, glad to see it (well, hear it)

This looks as good as I thought it would, man these games are so awesome and fun, good vibe to them. Can't wait till I can get a new PC and finally dig into FH4. If the rumours are true and Playground is totally making a new Fable as their other game then I'm hyped, the environments are stunning here.

Sim City! Nice! I miss city building games, there's something so relaxing and fun about them. Sim City 4 and 2000 were really good. Luckily Cities: Skylines is pretty damn amazing and gives lots of possiblities thanks to mods so it's not the end of the world and city builders aren't completely gone.
EDIT: Oh, they mentioned it, cool! Everyone that loves city builders and haven't heard about Cities: Skylines needs to try it out, it's also been out on consoles for a while now if you're not a PC player.

Yeah this is a cool format, a written review + a longer discussion video. Ideally it'd be nice to have at least 2 people who played it, one who reviewed it and played it thoroughly like Ben + someone who played maybe not all of it but some of it (there's way too many games so it's understandable that the other person wouldn't play large part of it). I could see this work. GB hasn't really been a site that reviews regularly so it's a format that could work for them and there are plenty of other cool sites that have a bit more traditional review style that I enjoy as well. (US Gamer, Waypoint, Polygon, IGN, Easy Allies and so on). Experimenting is almost always good and I enjoyed this Spider-Man review and discussion.

OMG, Juiced, not sure it's good now, but when I was like 10 or something I loved Juiced, still have a PC retail copy. Had some really cool crew mechanics and stats from what I remember.

That's a long UPF, nice, and good crew as well! Get out Rorie haters! Two Point Hospital is pretty damn good, glad to see it here on the stream, and Divinity OS2 is finally out on consoles so everybody go play it, one of the best games of 2017 and best WRPGs ever. Super glad it's reviewing as great as the original PC version and super happy that it sold a ton on PCs a year ago and will allow Larian to make even more stuff!

@shiro2809@humanity : Interesting, I love literally all AC games and I'm a big fan of the series and I loved Origins and 99% going to love Odyssey, so it's not really true that only people who disliked old AC will like the new ones. TL;DR I was always way more into the historical parts and hated modern stuff.

From all the reactions I've seen to the last few AC games it seems there are 2 types of fans, those that like the modern day stuff and those that hated it. I'm part of the ones that hated the modern day (aside from AC1 and AC2, back when they still had a clear idea what they were doing with it) but in later games I just hated being pulled away from a historical period so I just tried to rush as much as I could from the boring (imo) modern parts. The lore behind the first civ etc. is cool and I like that but all the rest was not interesting to me and I wish all those segments were optional.

What I always loved and still love about all AC games is their huge historical environments and fantasy/sci-fi stuff mixed in with real history. The ability to play and explore historical settings that rarely show up in games. Not gonna lie, Origins and Odyssey differ quite a bit from other ACs and there's less of a focus on modern stuff (though they did start a new storyline of Layla) but it still has all the good stuff I mentioned above that I like about AC so much. Combat is just way more interesting now, because before you could literally fight by holding the controller in one hand and pressing 2 buttons (counter and attack). Sad to see some AC fans going away from the franchise but I guess that's life. Hopefully you'll find another series you'll love or someday hopefully AC will win you back :)

Not watching this since I have already seen some short parts of gameplay on youtube (don't wanna spoil myself too much) but I'm incredibly excited for this! Origins was awesome, took me like a 100 hours and I got a platinum, it was a joy all the way through. According to the director this is even longer and bigger than Origins! And the added rpg elements, branching dialogues etc. I'm so into all of it! I'm so happy that we can finally choose a character and play them all the way through. (Hated the fact in Syndicate that the gameplay was shared between Evie and Jacob, just let me play Evie all the time) Totally gonna choose Kassandra, she seems way more interesting than Alexios. It's cool that there will be a reversible cover so you can have your favorite character on there.

Apparently Ubi said there will not be an AC game next year which makes sense and I'm glad next installments we'll get even more time considering how Origins and Odyssey took 3-4 years and were developed simultaneously. (maybe the next game will be cross-gen) I can kinda get why so many people say this looks like a reskin of Origins (similar UI, ancient times) but it's definitely disingenuous and not fair. Anyway, not long now, can't wait! This might read like fanboy post and damn right it is, I'm just so so hyped for this! Odyssey and Red Dead are probably my 2 most anticipated titles!
