I miss Drew, Austin and Patrick from GB. While I love them on their new locations, they are loved and missed.

...trying to figure out out to have this running 100% of the time at work without using the work bandwidth...

Thanks Giantbomb!

This art is amazing. The music is dreamlike. It's a very fresh kind of cyberpunkish anesthetized rooftop mall thing which was, apparently, missing from my life.

Missing, yet.... found.

I have limited time for things like podcasts, gaming, web-surfing. I have barely (not really at all) been able to keep up with E3 coverage. I haven't been able to listen to your last 2 podcasts yet, but now I know some of what is in store.

Austin, I have had such a man-crush on you. Listened to all but the last 2 BeastCasts, gone back and started listening to StreamFriends (Dungeon World at least), and think I have read almost all of your articles on GiantBomb. I love your voice (writing, vocal, or otherwise), your insight into all things (gaming, social, race and gender) and your at-ease way of making me think. Quietly and skillfully you open your damn mouth and I know that I am listening to someone smarter than myself. Yet, it seems, without arrogance or the need to demean. I 'listen up' when you speak because I know that it will be worthwhile.

I looked up VICE/Gaming. Podcast? Not really there Austin. I hope that YOU are able to pick up the torch and run with this. I am open to subbing up another podcast and adding it to my meager list, but it looks like they have done 2 gaming podcasts. One of the things about GiantBomb that I love is the prioritization that podcasts have. I don't want you to move away, and never hear from you again.

Podcasts, for me at least, are an important part of my commute / day. I'm sure that I don't need to explain the appeal of easily accessible audio content to you. Can't surf at work, I don't sit at a computer.

Enough about me, let's talk about you!

I'm sad to see you go, even though I'm sure that you have thought long and hard about this move and come up with this as the best answer for you at this point in your life. I really hope it is. Don't fear change. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death...

I wish you all the best Professa Killah, mecha-communist, cyberspace-cowboy!

@amyggen: That's kinda what I'm talking about. If there is a chance, even the most remote possibility, that you can run into other people, why not have the option to start with one? I realize that this game is not trying to be "Minecraft In Space", but I sure would like that.

The only thing that I wish that this game had, but that I haven't seen much explicit information about, is multiplayer. I just wish that I could start on a planet with my daughter, or friend, and explore together.

I have been playing the Armored Warfare beta (think World of Tanks but modern tanks), and I have to say that the PvE addition to that game is great. So, instead of having the only way to play the game is having to get into a 12v12 match, you have the option to get into a smaller PvE group, say 4 (since that is a lance) go out together and take on some challenge together. Having multiple play styles would go a long way for me.
