So you copied an article from another site without any intention of starting a meanful discussion. Flagged

This article was written by me and I do have an intention of a meaningful discussion. I wrote this article to help those who are not sure if they should buy Skyrim or not.

Don't worry about the comments, some guy's like to vent their frustrations on noobies.

Welcome and keep up the good work.

By the way, after the viewing the video... I NEED TO PLAY THIS GAME...

“Art is the product or process of deliberately arranging items (often with symbolic significance) in a way that influences and affects one or more of the senses, emotions, and intellect. It encompasses a diverse range of human activities, creations, and modes of expression, including music, literature, film, photography, sculpture, and paintings.”

Over the years the concept of art and video game have been set apart, mostly because of the limited comprehension of both parties, the so called intellectual art critics and the game developers and publishers.

On one side there are the Art critics that claim that video games will never be consider a form of art, they are limited and don’t express the influences or affect the human senses in a significant way.

On the other way are the video game developers and publishers who in most part limit themselves to the basic aspect of the business and lucrative results that are associated to them.

The result of this limited approach results on a majority of video games that are merely shallow products of software interactivity and are viewed by the general public as representation of the video game industry, one who generates more income than just about any other form of media, including the movie business but at the same time struggles to be taken seriously.

I believe that as in other form of product there are some video games which their process is deliberately arrange in a way that influences and affects one or more of the senses, emotions, and intellect, and because of that can be considered a form of Art.

The problem with that is our own interpretation of Art and the cultural restrains to that definition, the intellect, aesthetics, and the sensibility aspects that affect our senses are there but undeniable attached to the commercial and pop-culture aspects.

The gaming industry is evolving the same way as music, painting, writing and other form of art did thousands of years ago and is predictable that the line that separates the art process and the commercial product that exists in video games becomes more visible resulting in a more acceptable Video Game as Art label.

All this malarkey with the DLC makes me just want to wait a year and buy the GOTY Edition.

Agree 100%, patched, all extras and good price.
