Omitting serious or 'controversial' topics from the Bombcast feels dangerously close to whitewashing the industry. I seriously hope they reconsider, or I'll just stick to podcasts that aren't afraid to touch on unpleasant news.
Dan coming back full-time is A) something I never thought would happen and B) possibly the only thing that could convince me that Giant Bomb was going to continue being Giant Bomb, instead of turning into something that might be good but would definitely be completely different.
Thank you, Dan, for many years of laughs going back to the Game Informer days, and here's to the future!
Well if this is where we should direct our questions, guess I'll ask here: who wrote the front page article? A staff member we know and love or some stranger at Red Venture corporate?
Yeah, I want to know this, too. It's completely tone deaf.
I was pretty hyped about what Jess and Tam were hyping until it was revealed to be The Very Online Show But With Anime. Always liked Bakalar on the Beastcast, but I don't like how he's taken over and essentially become the main character of Giant Bomb, while Jeff G appears less and less.
As time goes on I think I understand more and more why Vinny, Brad, and Alex left.
The direction the site's headed in depresses me, but at least there's Guilty Treasures - so I don't feel completely stupid for recently resubbing for a year. Danny's a brilliant fucking dude, and I'm happy to support his work in some small way.
I think Albummer is the breaking point for me. Nothing to do with games, no one from GB involved, and doesn't (IMO) fit the tone of the site.
