again, different story. american history X is a well constructed (fictional) document about a neo nazi movement, the people and their actions. it doesn't _promote_ their values and ideas. you should've said "jud süß" or movies from leni riefenstahl if you wanted to make your point, because they are, at least here in germany, forbidden to show or sell to the public (without a legal permission anyway).

i also don't want online meeting places for nazis, antisemits, terrorists or you name it. you can have places for discussion about them, but not for them. as someone said earlier: the discussion and the moderation work would be a nightmare. and because we still have huge problems regarding video games, it's better to dismiss the "discussion", because it would only end in promoting the game and gamer circle-jerking.

(also: i'd love to see a poll where gamergate supporters are being asked if they would like to play hatred. just out of curiosity.)

while GTA tries to simulate a real, living world, hatred tries to be a killing spree simulator. killing civilians in GTA is not rewarded, while hatred solely uses it for gameplay and reward mechanisms.

i agree with deleting discussions about the game and the fact that steam will not sell it. there's no point in having a killing spree simulator that's created by facists anywhere in the world. they don't want to hide the games from you, they don't want to give the developers a stage for their world view.

@dan_citi: 720p videos wont help here. needs to have at least 1080p, if not 60 fps to really judge the graphics nowadays. from your videos i would say that it runs fine, but looks muddy.

saw 1-2 youtube videos on 1080p 60 and man. that looked ROOOUUUGH.

i really don't like mobile games and the free to play mechanisms but this is really fun and you don't have to buy anything. highly recommended.

original doom, blood 2 and soldier of fortune made a big impression on me when i was younger. sniper elite 2 and all these games are graphically brutal, but there not raw and gritty as these three. they had a really fucked up atmosphere that made me think that i'm playing something illegal, forbidden and underground. manhunt could be named in that category.

what's the other side? what should there be to cover? that's one way of saying "yeah this bashing of women online is shitty but i also kinda like my games manly and for me". (don't take it personally.just: there is no other side to this bullshit.)

I remember the time when people cheated in counter-strike 1.6, got banned, got themself a new copy of half life, punched in the serial number and kept on cheating. so no, even a money barrier wont stop people from being dicks if they like being dicks.
