I lived in Japan for a couple years, and I was surprised by the positive response stuff like Last Samurai had over there. Apparently representation and such are "only" issues for minority communities, so criticizing this game specifically is in a weird spot where if they didn't localize it, it wouldn't be contributing to a social problem.

I think the systemic issues in the US are a big deal, but it's really hard for me to criticize this game as "another one of those" specifically because of it's origin. Like, blackface is super not OK, but if Spike Lee used it for some reason...

It was super glitchy on PC, like "how did this get out the door?" bad. I played it early on and in the final boss area moving the camera made me wish I had drugs and pink floyd on.

It happens to me as well, but only on "auto". I wonder if it buffers further out if you pick a setting, kinda dumb that I can watch high just fine but we get skips on auto.

My clean laundry stays in the basket and I put on the first item for each slot I come across except for activity-specific items. I'll grant that I made a decision when I seeded the random but I think we aren't talking about one that far removed when we talk about fashion "choices." On the other hand, some people have cartoon character wardrobes which. not being external impositions, seem like a weird amalgam category.

I'm getting "failed - no file" trying to download the medium. High is working so far, but it might matter to someone who gets their internet from a trashfire.
