True. I'm a big mountain biker and just bought a new frame - an NS Surge 2, if that means anything to any of you. I'll be trading in my Xbox and big pile of games and tat to bling it out with some quality components also - I really can't wait! Here's a pic for those of you who might have an interest:
@Everyones_A_Critic - Thanks for the non-contributory standard picture macro message which is even more useless than my blog you tried to nullify with said non-contributory standard picture macro message!
I haven't played any games in over 2 weeks, and it feels great. I usually get so mad at them I end up breaking something and it's got to a point now where I just can't be bothered. It started with Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and the utter shit experience playing that online was. Lag, getting killed by the same weapons over and over, terrible server browser... it was just complete grief.
They can suck my tiny, hairless peepee if they think they're going to do to me with Call of Duty what they did with Guitar Hero. They'll be bleeding this dry, milking the Call of Duty cash cow's udders until they erode away. They can fuck off, honestly. We aren't stupid. By getting rid of these two head honchos (which we still don't know 100% why, so I'm still on the fence about it) and announcing all these new games and genres for the CoD franchise at the same time has left me with a sour taste in my mouth.
I'd buy a map pack or two, aye, but:
- A new game developed by Treyarch? No. - A new game developed by Sledgehammer Games? No. - Paying per month for online play (which has been touted before, and this 'new business model' reeks of that)? No.
