I was leaning towards KO winning, and this news makes that seem even more likely. I think they're going to cycle Seth and Roman out of the title picture for a little while, and I don't think Big Cass is quite there yet.
ZSJ vs..Kota Ibushi is the safe bet for the finals, but I'm actually gonna go out on a limb and pick Gran Metalik as a dark horse to reach the finals and maybe even win.
I can't see anyone beating Ibushi before the finals though.
The question I always have for stuff like this is: It the game designed around the player having the DLC, or not having it.
If it's the former, than you're intentionally making the game worse in an attempt to extract a few more dollars out of people. If it's the latter, then you're asking people for money to make the game worse.
Unrelated to Talking Smack, the new sets are really fantastic.
They've clearly moved away from Titantron videos in favor of graphics that emphasize the performer and the entrance itself, and there's a lot of room for creativity.
I know they want all the champions to be "equals" but it's weird that they're trying to emphasize the brand split while making both the RAW and Smackdown title sets look the same.
It also makes the US title and the IC title seem out of place, as they're the only belts with unique designs.
The belts do look good though. The Smackdown women's title is definitely nicer than either of the men's variants, but not quite as good as the RAW women's title. Which I guess is a good thing since the Smackdown Men's and Tag championships look a lot better than their RAW counterparts.
