Finishing up Last of Us Part 2 which I have very mixed feelings about. Long story short without spoilers I think they improved the gameplay significantly from the original and it looks amazing even on a base PS4 but the story is kinda manipulative maudlin shit. I'm having fun and don't regret my purchase but it really exposes the Naughty Dog formula they've been using since the first Uncharted.

I hope they really shake things up for their PS5 premiere and give us something new. Also they do away with crunch and take sexual harassment allegations more seriously.

Too little too late they should have been honest up front and I got my refund already.

@sombre: I really loved the tag with Page and it seems like he is going to be the one to take the belt off Moxley.

Resurrecting this thread to say Jon Moxley is actually my current favorite though Shingo and Adam Page are tied for second.

Moxley is one of the babyface promos out there today. Easily the best brawler in North America who can still hold his own with the likes of Ishii, Suzuki, and even my boy Shingo. Seems like AEW at this time slowly building towards him finally losing the title to Kenny Omega who in turn will have a kickass feud with my other boy Adam Page.

Doesn't hurt Mox is also from Cincinnati so hometown boy done good.

@norm9: The Money Clip is such a stupid finisher. I like that the only reason Okada beat Hiromu with it during the NJPW Cup was because he hit him with a couple of Rainmakers first.

Night 2 was pretty fun. Loved seeing Juice back, glad that Yano finally outsmarted Sanada, and ZSJ getting a win over EVIL was great. I know it's a storyline but washed up Tanahashi has been bumming me out since NJPW has returned.

G1 Climax time baby!!! My money is on a Tanahashi/Ibushi final with Ibushi winning but my predictions are almost always wrong. Still rooting for either Ishii or Shingo to win it all but I'm not getting my hopes up for that.

While I have no real connection with Harry Potter because I was too old for the books, I can emphasize what the fans are going through. Having someone whose works played such a big part of your childhood turning out to virulently hate trans women has to be devastating.

As far as this game goes I guess in terms of separating the art from the artist this is easier to live with knowing that it's only based on Rowling's work and probably part of some deal she already had with Warner Brothers before the whole mess started. As for something Rowling's has directly created like those Fantastic Beasts movies or her non Harry Potter novels those should be boycotted.

What does New Day do? Big E and Kofi apparently make a killing on Cameo and Xavier has been campaigning to be a part of the re-launch of G4. They are in a unique position where WWE needs them more than they need WWE. Actually quite a bit of top talent are now in a position where they are making decent enough money through Twitch and other platforms outside of WWE that if they stood together against Vince they could really back him into a corner.

What I'm saying is wrestlers should unionize maybe with the help of SAG-AFTRA since they are basically actors who perform their own stunts on a scripted television show.

I wouldn't call it my favorite but the last movie I saw in theaters was My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising and it was an incredible experience. Surprisingly packed house and everyone was so hyped that it created this amazing atmosphere that just made the movie so much better. I miss seeing movies in theaters :(

I know it is mostly projection on my part but why I love Giant Bomb is that despite being owned by Viacom they have that Punk DIY vibe that a lot of game sites lack. Makes me think that they absolutely would bite the hand that feeds them if the other one is doing something shitty like promoting the US Army.
