Games I would want on a Game Boy Classic

The Game Boy was my favorite system as a kid and well into my teen years. I feel like the Giant Bomb staff doesn't have as much of an affinity for the system that I did as whenever they are asked the question in the email segment about what games they would want on a Game Boy Classic they always seem rather clueless.

note: I tried to leave off third party games to make this list feature games that would realistically appear on a hypothetical Game Boy Classic.

Kirby's Dream Land

I've only played this one but I'd love to finally play 2 and 3

Mario's Picross

Nearly forgot one of the best Game Boy games of all time.

Metroid II: Return of Samus

While I think the fan remake AM2r and to lesser extent the 3DS remake improve the game immensely I think the original is still decent if flawed Metroid game.

Wario Land II

Not as good as the first game but I do like that by making Wario invincible the focus is more on exploring and finding treasure instead of precision platforming.

Yoshi's Cookie

I feel like this is a solid puzzle game that kinda gets ignored.

Game & Watch Gallery

Literally a franchise that is just remakes of old school Game and Watch LCD games that while incredibly simple I found strangely addicting.

Balloon Kid

Was never clear if this was a sequel to Balloon Fight or not either way I enjoyed it.

Dr. Mario

Classic puzzle game that I am not very good despite how many hours I've played it.

Pokémon Pinball

I played a lot of this and while Revenge of the 'Gator or Kirby's Pinball Land might be better pinball games they lacked the gotta catch 'em all hook that Pokemon is known for.
