i think it's a problem because that was a trait in the Twisted Metal series. To have many characters with their own unique vehicle and crazy story. It's not a huge issue, but it does bother me a little bit as well for the same reasons as the OP.
does anyone know why this is happening? It seems a little weird.
Giant Bomb, keepin' it West Coast.
My guess is that somebody at Whiskey Media knows somebody at Fred Meyer. Unless Whiskey Media shopped this around to several electronics stores, and Fred Meyer happened to randomly bite.
This whole thing is still completely weird.
it seemed like a surprise to Whiskey Media when they tweeted it, but i agree it's weird. I'm so West Coast that i thought Fred Meyer was a jewelry store.
Cool post. It wasn't my intent to be creepy with my post, even if it came off a little like that for whatever reason. Just trying to share a story about how I encountered Giantbomb in Fred Meyer and thought it was cool. Thanks to Claude for bringing this to my attention. I felt like never visiting the forums again after the response to that post.
You're in like Flynn now. Retribution.
Throw it in their (i don't know who) faces, dude! YOU DESERVE IT!! :))
as a list of Celebs, i don't mind seeing Felicia Day or Jessica Chobot (considering their outspoken love of video games and general popularity being from the video game scene itself), but Olivia Munn? Come the fuck on! She's done nothing but be this generation's Jenny McCarthy on a show that happened to cater to a crowd of "nerds".
edit: i just realize how stupid it was to be even a little mad about an article like this. Good for Jeff though!! That picture of him totally fits Complex.
