I loved the concept of the Miiverse and thought, with some further tooling, it would have been amazing on the Switch. Maybe it's something they'll think about later down the line (tho I can see it being a battery hog.)
A masterpiece, to me, is something that you can revisit and still enjoy way after it's release, have an appeal that persists, allows younger people to be able to enjoy (despite it's age), is the best work of a particular artist/creator/director/studio/etc, and has an impact on the culture around the work. So, a lot of the time, whenever someone says "this thing is a masterpiece", I would have to disagree because not enough time has been had with the work.
I've been following GB since before the beginning. Gamespot oldie here. I think I started watching a few months before Rich left the team. I don't remember who else was there at the time. I think I started following GS around the time they had that weird convention where they had MC Chris rapping on stage and he started talking about the "dope ass Disney train". Weird time.
Not sure if this is a bug or if they were trying something out, but I saw an ad for Rooster Teeth while loading up today's B-Game stream. The ad was specifically for their show about kids or something. Again, not sure if GB changed their policy on ads for premium content. Will delete if something changed.
If they haven't finished it by now, the game ain't going to be finished at all. Persona 4 was a "right place, right time" thing for the crew and the magic was not recaptured for them.
I still like going through Sonic Adventure every couple years or so. Also, played through a game called Aquaria. Can't recommend it, but there was some interesting idea in it. I do wish it was tightened up though.
I only have two real complaints with the controller: I don't like where the second stick is. I get that you kinda want to keep it similar to the game pad so it doesn't mess with people's muscle memory between the two, but pressing buttons kinda suck down there. I also don't like how easy it is to click in the sticks. I'd had a lot of issues in Zelda with Link crouching cause I would try to dodge to the side to make a counter attack and it just fails. That sucks.
