Thanks for all the great content this year, guys! But I agree with others here that the 3-day long recap of games released this year seems unnecessary. I'd much rather see videos with the entire crew. That's just my 2 cents.
Wow. I can't believe it's taken this long for an FPS to incorporate slicing the pie.
STP is a tactic where you pivot off of the corner when you attempt to clear a blind spot. Jeff mentions it at around 23min when they talk about mounting on surfaces.
Ben's humor is often snarky and attempts at being "clever", but his jokes fall flat because he's just completely wrong about the subject matter. This week he tried to make a joke about the Star Wars VR license only to be corrected by Jeff who said "No that game was made by Lucas". Last week when talking about the MediEvil remaster he said "What's next a Voodoo Vince Remaster" to which everyone said "They've already made a Voodoo Vince Remaster". I wish he'd either make jokes less often or be more informed about the subject matter in which he's trying to make fun of.
Really? Seriously? Is this a joke? You can't possibly be mad at someone for being unaware of THE FUCKING VOODOO VINCE REMAKE!
The Matthew Broderick movie is called The Manhattan Project. I'd suggest that the coins and other collectables are the "crates" you can earn for wheel spins, but you have to spend banana "keys" to unlock the crates and spin the wheel. That means you can collect coins without having to spin the wheel if you don't want, and also puts more of a banana sink into the economy to even out your issues with too many too fast.
Corrections!
The Manhattan Project did not star Mathew Broderick. You are thinking of Project X.
@benpack To play devils advocate, how long should Infiltration be banned from EVO? 5 years? 10 years? Domestic abuse is horrible and anyone who commits domestic violence should be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law, but to ban someone from a fighting game tournament for life because they committed a crime (a shitty one, i'll give you that) seems a little extreme to me. Should anyone who has ever committed a crime be banned?
If he were permanently banned from participating, it would be because those running it don't want to associate their brand with his personal history, and that's perfectly fine, and their decision in the end.
You're absolutely right, it is their decision. "Extreme" was a little hyperbolic on my part.
If it was my decision, a 1 year suspension would be an adequate punishment as long as the behavior did not continue. But I tend to be more forgiving than most.

I do not know anything about this guy. But I am assuming he was convicted and served his time. At that point does he not deserve the chance to re-enter society?
I am a convicted felon (possession of a controlled substance), but I managed to pull myself out of that shit and change my life. I would not have been able to do that if people weren't willing to give me a second chance.
