I really don't get the appeal of this at all.

Any game dev who goes down the FMV road, in some ways, deserves the negative backlash they get because expectations of television show storytelling are WAY higher than video game storytelling. Case in point, Quantum Break. It was passible storytelling for a video game, but HORRIBLE for a television show. The FMV cutscenes wouldn't hack it on the SyFy network. I feel like game devs are trying to use it as a misguided stepping stone to a TV career.

I wonder if this is like that other horror game: "J.J. Abrams and the Island of TV Show Pilots"

Whoever made that intro needs multiple raises!
