@nethlem: This is like when a kid assumes that teaching is an easy job because they only see the teacher working till 2:30pm, and they get summers "off".
Any game dev who goes down the FMV road, in some ways, deserves the negative backlash they get because expectations of television show storytelling are WAY higher than video game storytelling. Case in point, Quantum Break. It was passible storytelling for a video game, but HORRIBLE for a television show. The FMV cutscenes wouldn't hack it on the SyFy network. I feel like game devs are trying to use it as a misguided stepping stone to a TV career.
