This is a joke, right? I mean everything about this video feels like a Tim & Eric sketch. Either the marketing team knew this was a ridiculous product and decided to satirize the device, or it's the most clueless campaign I've ever seen.
I loved Austin's reaction video to Dan's opening-box video. Now, I am in the "comments" section posting about their videos. I wish there was a woman on the staff so we could have a "how to put on makeup" video, too. Thank you, YouTube.
Did I read correctly that they removed the game from people's hard drives without their permission? That seems rather invasive. I don't think I like that.
Looks good. After all the pre-release rumors of disappointment, I admit I had some concerns, but seeing this video pushed all of that aside. This is a Bethesda game and that's exactly what I want. I love getting lost in the worlds they create and not worrying about the main quest. World's going to end, okay let me explore this cave first. Bethesda creates worlds full of secrets I love uncovering them.
Most of what I got from this video is a stronger sense of anticipation. This game is going to be better and better a year from now when the mods are in full swing. We'll have to see how the pricing system is going to work on those things, but if Bethesda is able to release ALL of the tools needed to create whatever mods what to make, then hopefully, they won't run into the same problem Skyrim had where mods were dependent on earlier mods to function and therefore linked to the wishes of the earlier mod creator. It will be interesting to see how the post-release creative community grows and if it can reach the same height as Skyrim or the previous two Bethesda (published) Fallouts.
