I'm not in favor of having to buy a whole new console for only modest gains over the original, however I would be okay with a modular system (like the PC) where I only upgrade components of the system as they improve or drop in price.
So, in this hypothetical perfect world, you wouldn't need to worry about where all of your friends are playing and could focus on the merits of the platform alone when making a purchasing decision? Sounds iffy.
Between this and the rumors surrounding the NX, I'm curious to see where hardware is going as we head into the latter half of this generation and toward the next.
I try and watch as much GB content as I can, but who's got the time to see everything? This consolidates it down so I can later seek out full versions of what I missed. Well done!
I see this as the future. The major publishers are learning that they don't need E3 to reach their audience. In time, they'll all have their own "experience" and E3 proper will be nothing more than the oddities of Kensha Hall.
