PigzFly's GOTY 2017
My latest obsession is Dungeons & Dragons, so I didn't spent a lot of time playing many video games in the second half of this year.

Undeniably the best game of 2017, and possibly my second or third favourite game of all time (behind Bloodborne, tussling with Ocarina of time). It's one of the only truly open world games that I can think of. Being able to climb on (almost) any surface is a revelation and I hope to see more of this in the future.

FUN! That's really all I have to say about Super Mario Odyssey. I think my moon total was only around 450 or so, which means I didn't get to the frustratingly hard parts that I've heard others talk about. So I guess that's the caveat to why I had so much fun!

The soundtrack of Persona 5 was my favourite thing of this year, I listened to it at work for about 2 months. The game itself is stylish as hell but it became a real slog to get through - I played 40 hours and started to see a pattern and kind of got bored.

Destiny 2 took over my life for about a month. I never did any raid content, or played more PVP than was required for the weekly challenges... but I did a TON of public events and "adventure" missions. I gave up when I got my warlock to light level 301

My holiday game. So good.

A mobile game on my GOTY list! I enjoy jumping into the training room and playing a few quick matches while waiting for dinner to cook etc.
