My Favorite Strategy/Empire/Sim Games of All Time
A mix of Real Time Strategy, Turn-Based Strategy, Simulation and Empire Building games that I really enjoyed.

Cannot count the number of hours spent playing and replaying the campaign missions on the hardest setting all to get that elusive S-rank for the campaign.
Again another handheld game where I spent countless hours leveling up my party and trying to obtain all of the best equipment in the game.
What really kicked of my love for strategy fighting games, I mean who could pass up weather controlling devices and DOLPHINS!
This expansion hands down made Red Alert 2 my all time favorite strategy game with a variety of fun units and enough base building to satisfy my turtling needs.
My first run-in with this franchise occurred after I rented it for the N64, not the most ideal platform but I eventually migrated over to the PC version.
Besides all of the awesome base building options and crazy Tiberian fiends that this game offered, who can forget the MKII.
I think they are now offering this game for free (which is a steal), but besides adding even more stuff to the original TS what I remembered most was the crazy hard last level... damn you Cabal.
Though this isn't a strategy fighting game but more a strategy-sim game, this made me love roller coasters before I ever rode one... 90 degree drop for the win.
Another strategy-sim game that brought the whole empire building genre into my view and what also made me realize how much I wanted to rule a roman empire.
One of the oldies but goodies which truly let my inner turtle self shine with some of the most over the top castles.
