Wow Ally is so awesome on the mic. Glad she's gonna be around now. Her and Alex are an A+ duo by the way. Such a chill and engaging dynamic. Thanks guys.
Edit: Wow this game is really kinda devastating, in a good way I suppose.
@cornfed40: I don't know dude, I wouldn't classify someone who hasn't played a video game series as "the devil". Not even posting classic cinematic spoilers in an effort to get a rise out of somebody makes you "the devil".
@dasakamov: Yeah sure, I'm not really trying to get up in arms about it. I just thought it was tactless in the MW quick look and this repeat offense, so soon after, peeved me. I guess if the community that you're referring to has no problem with it then I shouldn't either.
Edit: @cornfed40: Dude calm down. I never said that the world had to stop or that he personally spoiled it for me. But for your information I've had the pleasure of enjoying twists a decade after they happen and multiple decades after they happen.
@doncabesa: I guess, but it's more the principle of the thing. What if someone hadn't played any of the old ones, thought this looked cool and then wanted to binge on all of 'em to get ready for this one. It doesn't seem necessary just to casually drop something like "Oh he's the protagonist from this game and he dies at this part." Or whatever Dan chose to say. Like I said, I know the games are (slightly) old. I know that they're popcorn action bullshit. There's still potential enjoyment to lose at having things spoiled for you.
Damn Dan with these casual HUGE spoilers for both this series and the Call of Duty series in that CoD4 quick look. I mean, I know these games are old and there's probably not that many people holding these franchises up on a pedestal for their stories but they're still worth experiencing naturally.
@tevor_the_third: Austin Walker did an interview with the writer of this game recently. You should read that interview but in it they talk about the biracial protagonist. It seems that in this particular instance it's meant to illustrate a point about the era. The point is not "Naw it's cool; pretty sure he's half white!" and more likely it's trying to convey the opposite notion that, in the 1960's, racist assholes didn't care if you were half black or an eighth black. You were just black if you looked black.
This is really cool looking, anyone know if the comic is worth reading? Also tell me that from the back duke doesn't look like doctor zoidberg, the red hat and gloves, the weird sandals, I don't know, I've been up all night.
