@nickydubz: Having the EXACT same issue, no play button on ANY video. Have had it for months on my desktop, so I'd resorted to watching on my laptop. Now my laptop is on the fritz, so really trying to figure this out. Win10, Chrome, no adblock.

Giant Bomb hasn't really had a writing presence since Patrick left, outside of some very good stuff from Alex when he is able to post. We shouldn't be quibbling over linguistic differences (especially when the author is willing to provide definitions with examples after the fact), but cherishing the fact that he calls Giant Bomb home. I know that this discussion is about games journalism as a whole, but a lot of people have voiced the opinion that Austin keep academic words out of his articles. I'm not saying that these people want articles to read as AP reports, but surely some amount of the author themselves must appear in the article, no? If that means that, like in his first post, he gets (has) to draw a graph about the influence of game critique, isn't that small concession worth it?

Having the same issues, but only for the past 2 days or so. Even today, I was able to watch the final 20 or so mins of Unprofessional Fridays I had left. Anything else I try to watch stalls at the 0:00/0:00 buffering screen.

So just before christmas I decided I wanted to become a premium member (21/12/12). I also decided I wanted to change my profile name. So I switched out my existing, linked e-mail from the non-premium, older account and used it to link to the new, premium account (this one). Which now means that on Sea Serpent, when databases got moved (I'm guessing), it thinks I'm my older account, which is non-premium. Hope this is clear enough.

Thanks for any/all assistance.
