Wow. I just realized that Jason and Drew alternate Bombcast and UPF duties...when Drew is on the Bombcast, Jason is on UPF or vice versa!

@jeff I would not buy a new CPU at this time, in your case I would buy a new cooler and overclock your existing chip. The bottleneck exists in the frequency, buying a new cpu at this time is a waste of money afaik you have a 2500k. With a minor bit of tweaking you can get away with waiting till the next revision of the chips, I personally would not change the chip. You can also defer a lot of computing to your GPU(depending on what software you use) in my case I have a 980ti(about %25 faster) and I run extremely intensive computing software(matlab w/ simulink etc).

This comes to the fact that Intel is about at the end of this chip cycle and WILL change it soon.
