Hooray for my first Giant Bomb post! I'm going to keep this quick, because I've already written this blog three times before, because my PC keeps fucking up on me:

- I went to see Hancock last night. I'll admit it: I was rather sceptical, because I have read some reviews, and they weren't exactly easy on the movie. But I thought it was great. It isn't a deep movie, but it provides some quality entertainment. One thing I didn't like about the movie was the plot twist. I suppose it kinda worked for the movie, but you have to admit that it was kind of corny. Still, it kinda worked, I guess.

- I'll have some impressions of FIFA '08 and The Bourne Conspiracy up by tomorrow night or the day after that. I'm going home to my mom tomorrow, and I am going to play the living shit out of those games, so I can have some decent impressions up for you guys. As to whether I'm writing a review for them, The Bourne Conspiracy is a given. I don't know about FIFA '08, because I don't really know how to review sports games, but hey, I might just do it anyway. Who knows?

- Am I weird for feeling bad about posting this blog on GameSpot AND Giant Bomb? I mean, GameSpot has been my home on the Internet for a year and a half, and I have met some awesome people on there. But it has gone downhill lately, and it doesn't help that most, if not all, of my friends list is migrating to this website. I don't know, dude. On one hand, I really want GameSpot to be awesome again, but on the other hand, I want to stay here, because... y'know: Jeff Gerstmann, Brad Shoemaker, Ryan Davis and Vinny Caravella.

Why is this so hard for me? It's a fucking website, for Christ's sakes! Mybe I am a bigger nerd than I thought?

I would say post on Giant Bomb, b/c I am no longer part of Gamespot, and want to read your blogs:P But its your choice.

I kinda disagree with you on the Hancock thing. It's not a BAD movie, but the plot was indeed corny and in my mind made it not work out in the end. But it's not a bad movie at all, funny moments and cool stuff happening in it.

And I agree with you that Gamespot has gone downhill since I got banned.. No just kidding..
I think it was because they "lost" some good people. I've been with GS for a looong time. But never created a user untill later. I was there when the first On The Spot was shown and there has been a great bunch of people on that show and their other shows too. But almost all of them are gone and only a tiny amount of those good people remain over there. I can't name them now since I normally miss one or two people and that wouldn't be fair since they all gave me an equal amount of entertainment through those many years.

I would be nice to see those guys coming to work for this site, but I know that might not happen ever.
Jeff Gerstmann, Brad Shoemaker, Ryan Davis and Vinny Caravella are some of those great people, and they, and older Gamespot users will know the rest of the people I am talking about. But now I'm here and it seems I'll be more active here. But I don't feel bad about it since it doesn't feel like Gamespot is willing to do anything to bring the. "oomph" back that they once had.

Anyways, I've written too much and you've probably fallen asleep reading all this, it's great to see you again buddy. :D

And when you put it like that, I really want to be with Giant Bomb instead. I've posted this very same blog over on GS, and I haven't gotten a single comment, so I think everyone on my friends list has migrated over here. So, what's the point? I might as well stay here...

I know it's long I'm in a good mood today :D haha

But yeah, most of the dudes I know are here too. Some are on vacation or being sad little people but they will probably migrate here. If not I still have most of them on MSN and on Gamespot so if I ever feel like insulting them I still have the chance of doing just that :P

Isn't that what we have the "giant bomb" for? blowing GS and all other gaming related sites like it to tiny bits of failure so that one day GB will reign supreme?

Hey man, I feel just like you. My home on the internet has been gamespot for about 2 years now. I do feel bad for coming over here. The sad thing is that I barely go to gamespot now. And when I do its only because I realize I should, just to check up on things. I think soon, I will have completley stopped going to gamespot. Even if they do have good forums, I feel like GB will surpass them soon. And as soon as you can edit your profile to move around or like change to your liking, then I know I will be here.
