Well this sucks! We had a giant (GIANT!) painting on the side of a building in Toronto recently featuring Mr CM Punk. It was quite a site to behold and honestly just some pretty amazing looking art, but it has now been painted over.

Got back a while ago, everything went really smoothly for me. I had mine reserved so I ended up going out at about noon so I didn't face much turmoil. Waited in line at Futureshop for about 90 minutes at the very end of the line, so I got to see the a solid 40 peoples hearts break as they were told everything was sold out (hell, I basically turned into an honorary FS employee for that time and got to tell many myself), and by the time I got to Best Buy there was no line at all, so I just strolled in.

Ended up with ACIV and BF4 for Matt Hazard and Kane and Lynch (fly, you beautiful little site launching butterfly, fly) which I'll be upgrading to the PS4 versions next week. SO happy with how everything went, that is a damn good amount of money saved.

I haven't even gone yet but holy hell, the pictures I've seen are insane. I double checked to make sure my reservations are still on hold so I don't really have a reason to stand in line for too long. Thank goodness for that!

I think it probably has a lot to do with expanding awareness of their trade in program. I've traded into Futureshop once before, but I and I assume most others probably head to EB Games for that first. If I had to guess I'd say this is their way of making a move on that market.

...though yeah, they are going to get a lot of crap this weekend. Personally I'm bringing Matt Hazard and PGR3.

Yeeeep this is a completely insane deal, I'm planning on heading out tomorrow morning to a couple Futureshops to try and get BF4 and ACIV.

I'm assuming that the stores will be absolutely MOBBED for this, however, but as long as I can get a game (and avoid being punched) I'm willing to deal with the crowds. Should be fun!

@marc: Oh dude, I forgot about that. I was planning on doing the digital upgrade on the PS4 itself but that is a way better idea. Kudos!
