Thanks for the encouragement. I am actually quite proud of the work I put into it.

I spent a ton of time making this trailer for the FireFall class trailer contest. If I can get enough views and likes, I could win a trip to PaX East! I'm not certain if this is really posted in the right place, but I didn't see a better place and I'm not really a known forum member. Also of note, New invites were given to beta testers today, so hang around the IRC chat or keep your eyes open for contests if your interested in Beta-testing the game. Here is my trailer - please press like if you enjoyed it.

I've soloed a squire to level 62. Yes spec towers. as squire towers are good at both blocking lanes and dealing massive damage. once you get to the end of the game in hard mode you can set up your towers in glitterhelm and switch out to a new character for a couple of the middle waves for crazy fast leveling

In three waves i took a brand new level 1 ranger to level 28. then she could equip a lot of the better stuff i was finding.. then i would switch back to my squire for the last 2 waves as they were much more difficult. I have spent a great deal of time with this game, and find solo play to really be the way to go once you get a squire to a semi decent level. I don't like competing with other people for kills and the more people in the match the more health everything has.

I have called for the forumgoers of firefallthegame.com to come over here and update the severely lacking database on the game. Hopefully it doesn't overwhelm anything, the CEO made the callout, but since everything must be moderated I think it will be fine. So this post is to get some help of the best giant bomb contributors to get some good info into the database. There is a rather thorough wiki page for firefall Here : http://firefall-wiki.com/Main_Page

I know some of the guys who run the site had some negativity about FireFall, but I am a big fan of the game and I'm hoping this will give them a chance to give it a second look.

thanks for any help you can give :) I'm new to contributing and don't really understand it at all. But I did manage to submit 2 characters from the cinematic trailers.

I played a great deal of the beta.. got 2 characters past level 20. I found the combat is quite fun but  a lot of it is (was) rather unbalanced.. some classes ruthlessly kicked ass, others felt very wimpy.  Again this was about 2 months ago and I haven't played the retail version yet. Also a VERY important thing that is very strange about the character creation. you only get a VERY small selection of costume options when creating a character.. You will unlock dozens if not hundreds of other costume options when you are playing by equipping new items or using collectibles.. daily tokens to go to a "vault" will almost always net you a couple of pieces. I was particularly fond of the "BioMech" set of pieces.. with its metallic spines jutting out of my gloves, feet and shoulders in a very menacing manner.

Although if your an ENDGAME player, there are rediculously overdone suits of armor based off all the main heroes and villains you can purchase with crazy amounts of PVP tokens or in game money.  I will likely play this game again, but not till i get bored of Cataclysm. Which will probably coincide with a steam sale of this game.    Also, acrobatics was the most enjoyable travel power for me.
