Dude, no one cares about Opera because no ones uses it. seriously, if Opera had any significant number of users, Giantbomb would obviously support it, just like it supports safari, firefox, flock, and IE and every other non-niche browser. Web developers know that one of the hardest things they have to do is to make their site compatible with X browser, so when the choice comes between making you and your ten opera user friends happy and taking 5 more weeks of development and testing or just launching now, it is not a difficult decision.

I'm surprised that they even added that little alert message. Most sites, even large ones, just leave the site broken on Opera. Digg.com was flamed for not including Opera support in their new comment system until they revealed that Opera users make up .01% or their user base. It's fine you chose some crazy, behind the back, indie browser to use, but don't get mad when companies choose to ignore your choice because it makes zero business sense to support your obsession.
