Uncharted 1 and 2 are both better than Uncharted 3.

Windows 8 wasn't a temporary misstep by Microsoft. The convergence of desktop/tablet/phone OS is only going to continue.

I don't think either of these are unpopular opinions. Uncharted 2 is generally held as the best in the series and 3 is seen as a step-back.

I think Uncharted 3 is better than the second one

The other one might be unpopular, but I think most, reluctantly, accept that this is inevitably the way PC gaming is going. Here's hoping the PC doesn't become as closed as Windows 8 is threatening.

I know Uncharted 2 is widely considered to be the best, but my impression was that 3 still had the edge over 1 for most people. For me it's more like:

Uncharted 2 = Uncharted 1 > Uncharted 3

As far as the Windows 8 thing goes I agree, I think a lot of people have sort of accepted it. I don't think it's necessarily such a bad thing myself though, except for the concerns over the platform becoming more closed. But I think having one OS across all platforms can be a good thing, in theory. I also think the traditional desktop PC is becoming less and less relevant for everyone except gamers and power-users that actually need the power they can provide. For everyone else a laptop or even laptop/tablet hybrid is probably a better option, the way I see it anyhow.

"Plot twists" aren't all they're cracked up to be.

Uncharted 1 and 2 are both better than Uncharted 3.

The PC is a great platform for games, but it also has many inherent flaws. Some of the more hardcore PC enthusiasts give it a little too much credit imo.

Windows 8 wasn't a temporary misstep by Microsoft. The convergence of desktop/tablet/phone OS is only going to continue.

In game tutorials can be a very good thing, and they've ultimately done more good for gaming than harm.

Stargate Universe was a brilliant show.

Caprica was also a brilliant show, though I'll admit it was flawed in some ways.

The Star Wars prequels aren't that bad.

(and yes, it seems this will be my first post on the GB forums)
