Wait, what difficulty are they playing on? Isn't ironman? I'm so confused.
Ironman is a seperate option from the difficulty. It means they can't reload saves so if something bad happens, thats it, no save scumming. You can combine ironman with every difficulty mode (they are playing on normal)
I can't believe Dan is actually using the argument, "it's very popular and successful, so it must be good, you're weird for not liking this popular successful thing".

If the ai on normal is like normal ai in xcom 2, it feels like it tries it's best never to kill one of your units. If they focused their fire on one of your units, so many would have died but I think they deliberately don't do that on normal.
The thing with xcom 2: war of the chosen, as someone that just finished his first run of it, is that the difficulty curve of that game is ALL OVER THE PLACE. It starts off super hard, gets easy in the middle, becomes hard again at the later parts and then becomes VERY easy at the end when you get some insanely overpowered skill/weapon combinations on your soldiers. Like the sniper rifle you get from killing the hunter almost breaks the game, it makes snipers in ungodly killing machines.
I might get tarred and feathered in @ replies about censorship for this, but did it seem to anyone else like there was a ridiculous amount of swearing in this video? As a parent with kids under the age of 10, when family friendly games like this come out, I find myself thinking how I'd like to show them the QL. I'm not a super protective parent, usually I'm more concerned about violence than anything else and some cursing is fine, but when every other sentence is "fuck you" or "eat shit" I just can't. I've laughed plenty at the crew ranting about bad kid's games and I'm not saying they shouldn't curse, just seemed like an excessive amount here in a Mario Tennis Quick Look for not really any good reason? I'm probably in the minority though.
GB not caring about swearing has always been part of the site. You only have to look at stuff like an QL EX and often you see the guest asking if it is ok to swear since many sites try to avoid swearing, but GB doesn't. Its honestly something I like about them, there are plenty of swear free videos on the internet.
