Not a mechanic, but i work in HVAC and i just cant get past how gamey this kind of stuff is. I realize they cant emulate it in a game really but the part that is fun about this stuff is troubleshooting, this may as well be a fancy 3d puzzle.
Also, something this rusty you would still be stuck on getting the first few bolts out and hoping to god you dont have to drill and tap it. And you would be bleeding from trying to get your damn hand in there.
@derek_davis: I'll pay extra if i can get the guys to get drunk and sing Margaritaville yearly. If i wanted top watch a "pro gamer" i wouldn't be here.
Dan is right, this is a shit show. Its a shame, because it looks like it was made with all the misguided love in the world. Just comes off as trying way to hard.
Im so tired of Nintendo's hardware gimmicks, think im done with buying there hardware as at this point its just not worth it for Mario/Zelda and a few other really great games to deal with there aging hardware and dumb controllers.
This dosen't even have a good gimmick other then its portable, the snappy parts just look like something else that can break and no ones ever going to play local multiplayer games on that small a screen. Id rather them stick with a handheld and a console anyways, there trying to do too much dwith too little.
Mixed feelings on this, sounds good but i feel like if this becomes the new norm with half steps mid gen then i dont see why anyone either wouldn't just game on PC or wait for the improved version when theirs good games out for it and the kinks are ironed out. Dont matter to me as all i play on my PS4 is MLB The Show anyways, but if that was my main platform id be sorta pissed. Also, as stated in the previous article, electronic waste is getting bad.
