Gonna wait to see what AMD has this time around, i have a 2080ti and might upgrade but not real happy with how Nvidia has been throwing its weight around these past two gens and treating reviewers like crap along with the whole EVGA thing. If AMD puts out something at least semi-competitive in price and performance to the 4080 i think i may give them a go for the first time since Skyrim came out, haha.

Haven't been active here in a bit and gave up my premium awhile ago, but not for any real issue with the site, just that life changes and priorities change. Thanks Jeff and everyone who made the site in the first place, it helped me through some rough times, i hope it evolves and continues so it might shine some happiness on someone else and help them too. Sounds lame talking about a website like this but for a long time the videos here and the bombcast were highlights of my day and really kept me sane.

I gave up, im not saying i wont get a PS5 at some point but i stopped actively looking. I remember second guessing buying a 2080ti at launch but with all the shit that has happened with chips i think it paid for itself. Who would have thought it be so hard to buy new electronics?

Will miss the old guard, but I am excited to see where the site goes. It could be a good thing for the site and reinvigorate it after the pandemic. Jeff still has the passion and the ability to draw great people to the site! All the best GB! Good luck Alex, Vinny, and Brad!

Games were amazing, but as far as hardware goes i feel like we reached the point where the lines between pc game console are more blurred than ever. As games get more and more expensive i do wonder if system exclusivity becomes a thing of the past for all but a very select few titles. Im not wild about them bumping prices on some games to 70$, that seems like too much to me when games depreciate so quickly after release.

Besides the vram the performance cant be much better than the 3080, theres not a ton of difference between a 3090 and a 3080 as it is.

Will be at work anyways, but i had no luck with it last week. Got one in my cart several times to have the entire site break.
