I enjoyed Anna and Anonymous opinion on the matter but it feels like the games industry is making a bigger deal of this then whats required. Its a stupid statue but I don't see it as sexist just crass and misguided. Where as a boob mug yeah that's crossing into sexist territory. I can't understand who would want something so tacky on there mantle. Its also just a lazy statue they could have done something really cool with this.
I'll get accustomed to it but it feels bloated and cumbersome. The old store had a simple direct feeling to it but its not like there's any going back now though. Downloading even free stuff is a pain now takes 3 or 4 menus before getting to download. I love my PS3 but this update is the last thing that was necessary.
@Adaurin: Bioware tends to have better characters then stories. Mass Effect is just Ancient Aliens gonna kill everybody and DA 1 was your the chosen one! I kid, though for me Bioware has always had interesting characters that make me care about the universe that I'm in. I do however agree with you that the story for DA 2 could have been better.
DA 1 is more of a complete copy of The Night's Watch and the Others from 'A Song of Ice and Fire.' (Or 'Game of Thrones' if you only know the HBO show.) You weren't 'the one,' so much as 'one of the few remaining' who could take out the Others. Sorry... the Darkspawn.

I enjoyed DA 2 more then DA 1 there I said it. Though that's not to say DA 2 didn't have flaws like to many of the same zone reuse but I preferred how it was streamlined in some regards. The scope of the first was much better and had far more variety but I enjoyed the combat much more in DA2. The art design of DA2 was also much better and more distinct. Hopefully they take what was great about both versions and find a medium between the two. Allowing those that want more customization and control and the option for others to stream line things they don't care about.
Get a slim chances are a used 60 GB will wear out like mine did. The slim is very slick and like others have said you can still get a new PS2 for cheap. I do miss the backwards compatibility but if I knew what I knew now I would have just got a slim at the start.
I want to pick this up but since they announced a HD Deadlock I'm afraid I will get it then months later it'll be re-bundled with all four. I'd rather not buy it twice and rather have the complete set on one disc if it happens.
