Yeah, Jeff’s notorious lack of patience for video games is in rare form here. AC’s first hours are known to be a bit of a slag. To be so dismissive of a game that imminently gets much deeper...I just feel bad for him missing out on all the impending fun.
What’s more, it seems like some of the other staffers are having a decidedly better time with the game (Jan, Ben & Jason), but as usual Jeff’s tirade seems to take center stage. Would have loved to have heard a more nuanced/balanced conversation about it.
Don’t know what it is, but though I have only the most rudimentary idea of what’s going on here, I loved this stream. Something so comforting about constricting all that order!
Though I'm over the moon that the loudest proponent of wrestling-talk is shuffling on to greener pastures, I can't lie...I'll miss the crap out of you, Dan. While I didn't love most of your monkey shines, and was routinely gobsmacked at some of the insane shit you'd say, you taught me to learn how to appreciate you, even as I was shaking my fist at the screen. Genuinely thrilled that you managed to land a gig at not one, but two of the pastimes you love most in this world. Continued success and best of luck in Stamford.
Good lord, was this loud for anyone else? Would much rather hear a conversation between my favourite staffers than the firing of tens of thousands of bullets.
@jstaunton: Yeah, noticed that too. Dan was also pretty out-of-pocket with how smashed he was. Not sure if you caught the west coast stream, but Rorie was loud and obnoxious over there too. Unfortunately since most of the commenters seem to not only not mind, but celebrate them for being so hammered, I don't think we've seen the last.
