I'm going with the Duke on this because Gearbox is a good developer, nothing is gonna stop them from making and releasing DNF.  However, I'm sure Uncharted 3 will be released also becuase 2 came out in 2009, so it's most likely to come out in 2011.

HL2 Ep 3 is a little more of a risky pick because you never know, ep2 came out in 2007, it's already been 3 years, what's taking them so long??? I have no clue.  And Battlefield 3 was just announced a few Months ago when they announced the limited edition or whatever of medal of honor will get you access to the beta, so again, this game could totally be next year but who knows for sure.

"I don't get it.  Gas prices are going down, minimum wage isn't increasing, and the extra features they're adding still don't justify paying $50 a year for live, let alone $60 now."
You don't have a clue how the economy works, and you don't understand standard business practices. This is why you don't understand how stupid you sound. Do us all a favor, grow a pair, and don't purchase XBL again so we can have one less of you on the network.  Also, saying that everyone who disagrees with you is stupid and on drugs is a really awesome way to get people to see your side on an internet forum. Maybe it's why, in sixty posts, only a few people have agreed with you, while everyone else calls you a jackass. "

Wow, How you came to this conclusion from what I said is beyond me.  Also, I said I hope everyone is on drugs or something, and that was already after like 50 posts.  Also, I hope you all will be happy when all xbla games are 1600 points because it's only a $5 increase. And when the next gen conoles come out, enjoy enjoy paying $69.99 for each game because it's only a $10 increase, no big deal.

"$10 increase. Big deals. Get a job. "

I have a job, I can afford to pay the extra $10, but still...There is no apparant reason for it.  I don't get it.  Gas prices are going down, minimum wage isn't increasing, and the extra features they're adding still don't justify paying $50 a year for live, let alone $60 now.  I mean, the games aren't even running on a dedicated server.

Also, "$10 increase. Big deals. Get a job.", it's people like you that are to blame for xbl arcade games being $15 now instead of $10, just wait till next year when the first 1600 point game comes out and all the others after follow suit, it's just a $5 increase right?

"If MS put in a tiered subscription, then people would only pay for the one that lets them play online. Everything else is just addons that are useless if you have a PC. Also if you hate paying an extra $10, then go buy a bunch of cards while they're still $40. "

Ok, this is a losing battle for me because all of you are on drugs, I hope, you can't really be this stupid, so this is my last comment on this topic.  If it's such a bad idea for MS to make an extra tier, that is $40 and allows you to just play online without extra features, because most people will just buy that one because it allows them to play online, then what is the point of all these damn extra features? And why is MS adding so much of them that now they got to raise the price of live?

Seems to me like that many of you are admitting that the extra features of live are worthless and stupid. Also, by MS not making another cheaper tier that allows for just online play, it looks as if they are also scared that people would just flock to a cheaper version that allows them to play online, and if that's the case, what is the point of all these studpid ass features??? If these features are so good and worth having the price of live go up, why don't MS prove it by making a $40 tier with online play only, while the tier with all these wonderful features is $60???

"I knew what i was getting into when i bought a 360??? I knew it was gonna cost $50 a year and that MS was gonna keep adding useless features that I don't use on the 360 because I already have a PC sitting in the same damn room.  I was fine with them adding these extra features so that they could try and justify XBL Gold more than just $50 to play games online, which is what it is to me. But now they've gone and added things like ESPN live sporting events and I'm sure that costed them a couple Million dollars, and now they gotta raise the cost of gold $10 for features I don't want to use.

Sounds like you knew what was going on unless you have no clue how much adding services costs. It's common sense to see a price increase with increased functionality. Also, you knew your 360 was going to charge you for online use. You have to be aware that they can raise that price at any time. It isn't their fault you didn't realize that until now.

Exactly, what the people really want with live is just the ability to play games online, and right now, $50 is about $50 too much, and now it's going to be $60. "
If you didn't want to pay for multiiplayer, you should've bought a PS3. Again, you have no ground to bitch. "

Is it common sense to see price increase with increased funcitionality? Look at Steam, that is totally free and has had so many extra features added to it that it isn't funny.  It has everything XBL has, except the extra features like facebook, hulu and that stuff, because you can just launch a web browser for that stuff, like most people who have xbl can do because most of them have a computer too.

Valve is alot better than M$, they decided to make a platform that had social networking features and all that other good stuff, while the games that support online multiplayer are hosted on servers by their publishers/developers. XBL is just a peer to peer online gaming service on a closed system that allows ms to charge over the top prices.

Also, I bought a 360 over a PS3 because of the games, thank you very much. Also, WTF is wrong with you people, I already said I know I have to pay the new price if I want it, and I most likely will, but it is my right to bitch and I do it by complaining and coming up with a better solution.  I don't understand why all of you fucking bend over and spread your asses apart and let em stick it in without putting up any kind of complaint, how do you just stand there and defend MS???  It use to be with an Interenet connection, you can play against other players, but with the 360 you have to pay $50 and now in November, $60.

Also, what is the point of all the extra features of Gold and having to raise the price $10 when most people seem to be convinced it's a bad idea to have a cheaper tier that allows just online gaming for cheaper for fear that most people would just get that.  Doesn't that just mean those features are useless and that the fact that MS has to raise the price $10 because of them makes it really stupid and pointless?????

"For the record, spelling Microsoft with a dollar sign makes you look like a jackass.

Also, people really need to stop complaining about the price increase if they've paid the $50/yr in the past. It's 2.7 cents more a day. Pay it, and shut up. "
I know spelling Micro$oft like this makes me look like a jackass, I don't usually do it, but I can't help do it in this case. Sure it's only $10 increase per year. But guess what, it's people like you that Microsoft and other companies love. You guys allow these companies to raise the price of something by $5 or $10, and sell it for a price that is not worth it. If people would bitch and moan about this kind of thing and then not pay the money for it, they would lower the price back down.  Example, MW2 mappacks for $15, 5 maps is not worth $15, the game came with 16 maps, so by these numbers your telling me that 15 MW2 maps are worth $45, and that the rest of the game is only worth $15, give me a break. "
Or big people don't bother to complain about a $10 increase to an annual price. Don't get XBL. That'll show 'em.  I've never had an issue with XBL. My Netflix has always worked great, I've never had a problem with connection to multiplayer, and I like how they're broadening the service, and I want to continue to see features added. If you don't want to pay for multiplayer, build a PC or buy a PS3. You knew what you were getting when you bought the 360. You have no ground for argument. "

Obviously I'm gonna evently have to pay $60 for live, but all I'm trying to say is that they should add the ablitliy to play games online without extra features for like $40 a year.  All live is to me is the ability to play my 360 games online, thats it, I should have the option to pay less and not get the extra features that are now forcing them to raise the price of gold.
