" This has to be one of my main fears when it comes to gaming so I have an OCD attitude when it comes to saving. Sometimes, I'll save twice in the span of a minute just because I'm not 100% sure I actually went through with the save the first time.

My worst amount of game progress lost in general is 40 hours in Dragon Age for the PC. I was in the Dwarf caves last I had played it. The very next day, my computer refuses to turn on. Turns out my hard drive was banged around a little too much from a 1 inch drop between where it sits and the carpeted floor. I found the game fun and was willing to go back but I lost the instruction book and the code to install it along with it. "
This! I have never had much bad luck with power outages, though I will now lol!

I definitely agree with the post about how  "Mainstream music" sucks. For the past decade we have been subjugated to listening to horrible songs by everyone from NSync to Lil' Wayne to Lady GaGa, in fact when I redid my car stereo I left the radio out and simply listen to my iPod now. With that said there have been a lot of really talented people making great music, the post about Foo Fighters is a great example, for every no talent rock band on the radio there are a dozen bands like Foo Fighters that make quality music for the love of music. It is like this in every genre, sure Lil Wayne and the New Boys are garbage, but Jay-Z, Eminem, T.I. have been around, and newer cats like Drake are slowly taking back the radio. Look at country music, they cram garbage down people's throats but artists like Brad Paisley are still out there. The key is to avoid the radio and its attempts to control your mind and wallet and pick your own music. And to the dude that keeps begging us to like Lady GaGa, do you honestly think a website of mostly young men are going to want to listen to bad techno-ish songs by an ugly broad?

Its funny to see the people that dislike Morrowind, blame it on the things they liked better about Oblivion, and the people that love Morrowind hate the things that changed in Oblivion. Personally, Morrowind is significantly more enjoyable than Oblivion, despite the dated graphics and less-than-perfect combat. The world is more interesting, the quest better (not to mention there is way more to do), and the enemies scale more effectively. Exploration is key in Morrowind, I played for more than 100 hours and never bothered to beat the main quest, and there are tons of mods that will help you tailor the game to more modern tastes. And besides almost any game is worth $5, I bought Rise of the Kasai because it was $5, though that may not be the best reasoning for purchasing Morrowind.

Paul McCartney in person is ridiculously awesome. I won't ruin it for you, but some of the stuff that he performs is, well you'll see. I don't attend many concerts, but last year saw Jay-Z in person, and considering rap sucks live, he was fantastic.

I have had the 60gb since launch with zero problems, unless you count the mysterious cracked controller I found the day after some heavy drinking. I didn't remember playing games that night at all?!?

I remember attempting to play that game off and on for years in the early '90s and getting nowhere. I know people complain that modern games are too easy, but I suggest that many older games were too difficult. In fact, I think that the difficulty is made supremely frustrating to ensure you didn't finish the game too quickly, since there weren't 2-3 decent games released each week.

While there is definitely some fun to be had, you could probably stand to wait for the next round of price drops. I would be willing to bet it will dip to under $15 on Amazon.com in the next couple of months as warehouse space becomes an issue for the next wave of holiday releases. Another idea is to rent it and see for yourself, a five dollar investment isn't a bad deal when it may save your $25. Additionally, I find that many of the Mortal Kombat games have supremely cheap A.I. and, as mentioned above, if no one is online you're going to be at the mercy of your local friends. If you don't have anyone to play it with then I would say pass. Finally, if you are looking at it for Achievement/Trophy Padding (and I won't judge here!), the game is supposedly really frustrating and time consuming,  Xbox360achievements.org lists the time to completion at around 100 hours, or the time it would take to complete two or three better games.
