This series has been a lot more fun to watch than Sunshine. Sunshine was just rough because it was a terrible game. But this game isn't that bad it just gets infuriating later. The more they play the more they will die because of the stupid bonus mini games that make up 50% of the golden bananas that they haven't gotten to yet.
I wonder how much research went into this feature. Donkey Kong 64 isn't nearly as bad as people say, but it's got some insanely questionable design choices that will make it frustrating for the players. This is going to be good.
@zoofame: Would you really be surprised at MK being on the top ten? It's one of this year's major releases and it's been highly regarded. Also didn't Vinny say he loved OuterWilds?
Does anyone have those Big Live Live Show talent videos? They were all put up on here as ads and they would randomly load before videos. I don't know if i've ever seen the standalone videos. And I'm pretty sure @alex did one where he showed off his drumming by slapping a bunch of upside down trash cans.
I'm glad that Abby is choosing to play through this. I don't think there is that much coverage of this game on this site so it's cool to see it again for the first time since I beat it years ago.
@ripelivejam: Hey that just makes sense and it's easier to say. Schmup is accepted as a term sure, but it's still pretty weird and not saving a lot of time.
@tobiasparker: Dude it's been 7 years and you're complaining about the Chrono Trigger Endurance Run? They played as any other first time player would. The only big thing they did wrong was the one episode where they were in 2300 AD and they walked across the whole map to get back to the End of Time.
