I'm glad VDO.ninja is working for the crew, @janman Everything looked great, and now you don't have to worry (as much) about Minotti or Ryckert kicking the podcast door in and messing up your crops. Also I'm glad my channel/VTuber logo is memorable enough to stick in your brain. The branding, it's working!
@janman Saw you mention that you want to stop using VMix. I'm sure you've already heard of it, but I can strongly recommend VDO.ninja
It's free
It runs in a browser (or browser source)
You can either have each person's camera (and/or their game feed) as separate sources or one singular "Director" view with everyone and their feeds.
It has WAY lower latency than discord.
The person with the game feed can actually control their bitrate and/or resolution if needed.
Edit: Most importantly, no matter who barges into the discord call, it won't mess with your crops.
I did ~50 hours of co-streams last Halloween using it where I had other people send me their camera and feeds to me using VDO.ninja and it was simple (and a blast).
I really enjoyed my time with Evil Dead: The Game today. I'm sad that it seemed like it didn't click with Jason.
I would say that the Single Player Missions are more a "Challenege mode" and are extremely difficult, and probably a poor introduction to the game. The actual multiplayer game is great, though.
I wonder if Danny's going to veer into the Sword of Moonlight territory, but if he is he he'll have to start focusing on faith. Which can be good in Demon's Souls due to the regenerating holy weapons.
Alex, thank you for sharing your love for Spiritfarer and your family. Spiritfarer meant a lot for me for many of the same reasons it did for you. Atul's love for building and outright kindness directly reminded me of my father-in-law who we suddenly lost to cancer in 2018, and the sudden resolution (or lackthereof) to Atul's story mirrored reality so much that it destroyed me.
I'm glad to see others connecting with it as I did, but I'm also glad that it in someway helped you process some of the loss you experienced.
My heart is with you, and thank you again for sharing your story.
