I'm starting to feel a little sick of remasters. There's a new remaster announcement every week now. I guess the game industry has figured out what the movie industry has now known for years - rehashing the same stuff every 5-10 years makes easy money...

As it's now usual, the "games we're currently playing" section was so long that I just had to skip it. I don't know about others but I think that section would be a lot more interesting if it was presented more concisely.

Mafia 1 was loved because of its great story, characters and world. It had nothing to do with the traffic laws gimmick. I still think it has the best story of a GTA/GTA clone game, Sleeping Dogs comes close too.

That onions vs potatoes question was an absolute no-brainer. I've never encountered a single person who doesn't like potatoes - while onions seem to be disliked by half of the population of Earth...

I think people take spoilers way too seriously. I get it, plot twists are cool but are they really that important to your enjoyment? Especially in a game which must be fun first, and tell a story second. Personally, I grew tired of plot twists after the first couple of GoT seasons and now I don't care at all if I know them beforehand or not. In fact, I spoiled myself on RDR2 and curiously that made me a lot more interested in the game than I was before it.

I've recently tried Persona 5 too. It was my first JRPG and after about 20 hours I became so bored with it. I appreciate the style and the characters but my god there is so much talking and so little gameplay...

@jedikv: About the red dot, I agree. But the movement system is so crucial in this game, that without it the game wouldn't feel half as tense. It would become just a silly shooter.

We absolutely don't need a remake of RE4. That game is perfect as it is, especially after the remaster. On the other hand, Code Veronica definitely needs a remake but I guess it would not be as easy to market as 4...

I salute Sony for trying to spice things up. Everything about the Xbox announcement was so dull. With that said, I'm not a fan of the cool white color scheme, nor of the lack of color on the four buttons on the right. But overall it sure looks more comfortable than the DS4.

That microphone included with the controller is most probably there for voice control of the console.

@sekou: Yeah, well he doesn't like the game. The whole game. So he is giving his opinion. Take it or don't, but don't expect people to modify their opinions just to please everyone. Last time I've checked, people on this site liked Jeff because he was honest and direct about his opinions.
