What I liked about the story is that Joel is an immoral man in an immoral world. He's found one thing that he's attached to, and he'll do anything to keep that relationship in his life. He's lived selfishly for so long that he has no perspective beyond his wants and needs.

It doesn't really matter to me about why I would have done, because at no point did I ever see any of myself in Joel.

I'm planning to use the chapter select to go back through and see what else I might have missed. I also want to go over to the Omni William Penn's lobby and snap a few photos. From what I can remember, it doesn't look anything like what's in the game. Perhaps the Renaissance Hotel (which is the other historic hotel in Pitt) has a lobby similar to what's in the game.

Agreed. I won't buy a console that has an always online requirement or one that doesn't allow me to play used games. I almost never buy games new.
