Top 5 Games of 2016
What a year for video games. My list this year could have easily been the top 30 games of the year but I decided to narrow it down to five.
Honorable Mentions - Mafia III, Inside, Overwatch, Battlefield 1 and Forza Horizon 3.

I played exactly 0 hours of Hitman. But no game this year provided me with as much entertainment as Hitman. I watched everyone I could find play this game and each time I was amazed with how happy it made me. I enjoyed the videos so much that I don't think I actually need/want to play it for myself.

Hacking cars and driving them off bridges, this is our dark future.

This was the first hockey game I have played since NHLPA '93. I played an entire season (82 games) and I actually thought about playing another! (I didn't of course, because that would be just crazy)

What beautiful game with an amazing story, if they could have figured out how to make it fun to play it might have been number 1.

I never played harvest moon and I have no real affinity towards Animal Crossing, but this game got its hooks in me quick. I spent hours farming, spelunking and fishing and enjoyed almost all of it. The repetitiveness wore thin however and I unfortunately never married the girl of my dreams. Life imitates art I guess.
