Twisted Metal Black was the best game in the series for a reason! The dark atmosphere and stories really created the right ambiance and mood for this genre and series. Now I see this trailer and I see transforming cars? While I can understand this being used to breathe life back into a stale genre...it comes at the cost of what made Black a great game. I'm not sure I like that trade off.

Umm... Did you actually play Black? Because.... http://ui26.gamespot.com/1625/vehicle_2.jpg

This just looks like an evolution of his Black car...

Yea I played Black, and I am very familiar with Sweet Tooth's ice cream truck having a transformation, however this trailer hints at EVERYTHING having a transformation to the point where every unique special will be "transform into a flying machine."
What I am trying to say is, I don't know if I like a car game becoming a transformers with flying mechs game.  To each their own.

And to the individual who says Black wasn't the best: we are allowed to have differing opinions that's cool.  I still say Black is the best and a lot of people will agree with me.  Why can't we have that kind of style in a new game if so many people enjoyed that style?

Hey, I was in on the last two matches (longshotty) and it was a blast guys!  Thanks for the great time Giant Bomb and fellow GB users!

P.S. I was that juiced up Tank that killed the moneyball on the very last match lol

P.P.S I noticed that GB users know what they are doing when playing games like this.  This community knows how to use teamwork, I love that!

Frankly, League of Legends (which has ALWAYS been free) is the better game now and moving forward into the future.  The only negative LoL has, is its random server downtime.  I would at least give both a try before deciding which to settle down with.

An extreme majority of HoN's setup is a direct copy of DotA showing (In my opinion) a lack of confidence and skill in S2's ability to be creative and the ability to stand out from the crowd.   As a society, we frown upon sequels that are carbon copies or games that steal huge elements from other games, so why should this be any different?  Do we have any faith in S2 games to create NEW things to keep the game fresh when a majority of its game is a copy? (and, yes, I know IceFrog gave his blessing, but that changes nothing).

But, we should all be thankful for one thing about HoN; it harbors the worst of the worst of our gamer society so we don't have to play with them in other games.  All of you who might be enticed by this free week idea please note that the established players of HoN will act extremely negative toward you because they do not want you there "ruining" their game or worse.

For the ER faithful I'd like to take a moment and say...

Good morning. In less than an hour, aircraft from here will join others from around the world. And you will be launching the largest aerial battle in the history of video games. "Video games." Those words should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it's fate that today is Episode 50, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom... Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution... but from annihilation. We are fighting for our right to live. To exist. And should we win the day, the ENDURANCE RUN will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day the world declared in one voice: "We will not go quietly into the night!" We will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on! We're going to survive! Today we celebrate our ENDURANCE RUN Independence Day!!!!!!!!
