Thanks, Notch, for rendering my chosen profession all but obsolete. I guess all that's left is to hang myself from the ceiling fan again. Hopefully the structural improvements I made after the last time will finish the job this time around.

Hahahaha

Finally, I haven't played Brotherhood or Revel. because I didn't feel they contributed enough to the story to be worth $60, which, combined with the combat makes for a very fun game so I'm glad they're finally coming out with the real ACIII.

Hopefully they'll have the integrity to finish the story and leave a good series be remembered for a good series and not turn it into a spin-off fest like Kingdom Hearts has become or turn it into an annual CoD/EASports thing. I'm convinced we'll never get to see what happens in the 3rd true installment.

Fair enough but why other games get slammed for texture problems but not Bethesda games? In all the video reviews I watched the review were defending the texture problems which made me lol. WTF?!

Because none of the games have the level of content and the enormous scope of Skyrim. It's impossible to maintain beautiful textures on the 360/PS3 when something is that big. The tech's too old. So why should they deduct points for Bethesda doing the best they could. Graphics are secondary in this kind of game anyway

@SpencerTucksen: The Elder Scrolls are the only serious competitors in their class and they do it extremely well. Why do people love the series? Because they created a fantastic, mysterious world that Bethesda gives you the keys to discover. Can you think of any other game like the Elder Scrolls not made by Bethesda? Demon Souls is a dungeon crawler, Dragon Age is a tactical RPG with a relatively linear storyline that has recently been dumbed down for the masses, Mass Effect isn't fantasy and plus they don't compare.

The only games you can compare it to are ones like Two Worlds, which is considered by most people to be mediocre at best. Elder Scrolls does what it does better than anyone else: creating an interesting world to explore with the ability to do whatever you want, with whatever kind of character you want, while also providing customization, good graphics, and decent gameplay.

I ask you again to name a serious competitor because I'd love to discover something that comes close.

K for people who don't play Starcraft let me explain:

Blizzard included this section, called "Challenges" that basically put you in situations that require you to use different skills that are essential to the game in order to help you get familiar with the kind of gameplay strategy and techniques you'd have to use in multiplayer or campaign. In reward you earn valuable experience as well as achievement points.

What I would suggest is that BF should included something similar where it puts you in situations with different classes where you learn how to use your gadgets and the purpose of your classes effectively.

For example:

1. An assault would have to throw medkits and revive "bot" players until they've taken out the enemy. This would teach you the importance of reviving (and how to do it) and the importance of medkits in this game.

2. An support guy would have to lay down suppressing fire with his LMG on an enemy target until the "bot" players can eliminate him. (Make it long enough where he has to incorporate his ammo gadget).

3. An engineer has to use rockets and repair tool to escort a tank through enemy vehicles, etc.

4. so on and so forth.

In return you would receive achievement points. While this may not sound like much incentive, for whatever inexplicable reason, people like to get achievements and this would force some people to at least realize the capabilities of their class, the extra points you can receive, and how helpful you can be to your team and squad.

What do you think?

Region-locking games is retarded. It's like they want people to pirate their games -_-
