As this great new year is over (I am talking about 2008), this new year is a total mistery for me. SInce I was disconnected for the gaming world during the last couple of months (More exactly since october) I have no idea of what kind of good games might be released on 2009 for the XBOX 360. I have been able to check some games but certainly there is nothing really appealing. But I have checked a lot of people's blogs and comments saying that 2009 will be another great year for gaming. Only Resident Evil 5 caught my attention, but I have never been a huge fan of the series and I am certain that it is not the highlight of the year.

So, if all of you with your wisdom and knowledege can help me out telling me some good titles so I can take a look at them and follow them up, I will really appreciate it. This will be a good beginning for me to catch up all the time I missed during the last semester of the year.

How good was my game acquisition during the last two months of 2008.

Many of you may know that I don't get a lot of games. The prices and lack of gaming time ussually doesn't help. Plus, I want to take the best from all the games I get. COnsidering this, it is really weird for me to get more than 2 games in a month. Now, considering November and december I totally broke my all time game acquisitions. I got some as gifts, good deals or just bought them because I felt so. But now, I have a huge amount of games bought on November december. Here is the list.

- Dead Space
- Fable II
- Gears of War 2
- COD: World at War
- AC/DC: Rock Band Package
- Left 4 Dead

If we add to this list the games I previously got in the year:

- RSV 2
- GTA IV
- MADDEN 09
- Rock Band 2

Tha makes 10 games for the year :) By far my best ever. As I tell you it is incredible to see that I was able to get 6 of them in just two months :) I must say that I am happy. The most expensive game is yet the one missing from the big group of games of the year: Fallout 3. I love RPG's so I am excited to get my hands on this one. I just hope I can get it as soon as I can.

Now, based on this games and the only Arcade game that actually enjoyed fully, this is my "Top 10 list" for this year :)

10: Left 4 Dead: Not enough playing, but the little I have played it has shown me great things which I hope can make it better on this list.

9 Fable 2:  A little dissapointing so far, but I think as soon as I get deeper it will be a better game for me.

8.- Madden 09: Football games are over for me. This one was actually pretty good, but I am tired of these games. No more Madden for me. This one was the last one :(

7.- RSV 2: Very fun, like its predecessor. Actually, too much like the first one :P But those night plays killing terrorists are priceless :)

6.- GTA IV: An excellent game but I just couldn't feel the total hype for it as many people. Plus, my game screwed and couldn't play it anymore :(

5.- Castle Crashers: This one was my XBLA game of the year by far. I haven't played Braid so that's why. It is a great effort to bring back a gaming style that we old fashioned love. An amazing surprise

4.- Gears of War 2: Another triumph for EPIC. I think the storyline on this one makes the campaign slightly better than the Multiplayer (Which I hate, except for the Horde option which is a blast)

3.- COD: WAW: For the first time I like a game better for its Multiplayer options than its campaign. I think the campaign is not as good as in COD 4 but the multiplayer certainly has its moments.

2.- Rock Band 2:  Same old. Same old. The "THE WHO" DLC along with the announcement of Pearl Jam "TEN" for the future makes this the "Might never stop playing it" award. Nothing like this game to entertain everyone in the family. That AC/DC package was another great addition.

1.- Dead Space: I have said a lot about this game in other sites. Just to make the story short, this game is my second all time favorite game just behind Bioshock. ENd of the line.

So well, this is my TOP 10 gaming list for this 2008.

It was fun to come along with a lot of names that we weren't sure if they were alive :lol:

Well, I have seen that unfortunatelly there is a limit on the characters for bloggin. I spent about 10 minutes writing something and I couldn't do it after all. I hope they can fi this because I really wanted to write something about me... :(
