I originally lamented at the fact Nolan North voiced the main character, but he does fit the character rather well. This game is rather silly, but as a fan of typical shonen anime, it is right up my alley. This game does seem to be completely lost in translation, but I have really grown to appreciate its quirkiness.

Aww man... I hated modern warfare before it was cool... guess its time to move on to something else.

Personally I pre-order every game I want, just so I know I get a sealed copy and don't have to hunt around for a copy. 

I am not surprised at all. Jeff likes to impulse buy games, he at least made a very valid point, monthly fees for mmos are dumb. I understand the logistics of why it is needed, but at very least he wont be playing the out of guilt (if he plays it at all) and has yet another silly story to tell. Is an mmo a good investment for a game reviewer, not so much...

I am rather shocked. I assumed the entire staff had a heavy 360 bias. I would have guessed MW2 or Batman would win. Glad to see Sony have a great year and glad to see Naughty Dog get some recognition.

This poll blows my mind... its like saying Dragon Age needs a horde mode... not every game is a shooter. If the poll was "Should Borderlands have a horde mode" that would be an interesting debate, but I would be too busy waiting for them to raise the level cap.

Sadly this demo proved my worst fears... the game is just a bad god of war clone. And sadly, I have grown to hate god of war. I don't want to really rant... but why can't action games have a story besides, "I'm angry, let me get some revenge".

Given Square's track record on the 360, I expect it to be similar, but buggy as hell on the 360. I love everything Square does... but Last Remnant and Infinite Undiscovery were both very hard to play.
