Wow I actually miss old AC. The past few are so NOT this at all. The only thing I didn't vibe with about Syndicate was the enemy levelling. It took too long to take some guys down.
But jeez in the new AC's it takes FOREVER to get a stealth kill, and it's not sneaky at all.

I'm tempted to use my copy that came with my card but I heard the campaign isnt all vn that good and I'll probably never try the multi so seems like a waste. I was born in the 80s so I dont care about this period.
More future stuff, advanced an infinite warfare the best campaigns.
GOTY so far. Hard to see anything topping it. The amount of care that went into every asset and design decision really shines.
Yeah it isn't like in 21 days from now any games are coming out that could potentially redefine next generation, become the cornerstone for every game that follows in its footsteps, and more than likely surpass game of the year by becoming game of the decade. I can't think of any games that fit that description.
Both consoles seem generally underwhelming so I'm pretty glad to have secured a 3080 so I have an excuse to save the money until there is a must play console only exclusive but for now I'm not seeing any particular reason to invest in either until there are some games worth playing. I watched IGNs footage of the Xbox series x and they spent like 30 mins in gears 5 because there really isn't any other games right now with the absence of big launch day titles.
This "half generation" "consoles as a service" thing really removes a lot of shine from a new generation when it isn't ever actually new it's just an iteration of the same. This is what other reviews tend to be saying as well this is just the better Xbox one x.
It's a hell of a deal though and an impressive piece of tech to be able to push 4K*120 and even 4K 60 isn't an easy task with the visuals I've seen. I just wish there was more to the consoles or the games were making it feel truly next generation.
@whitegreyblack: Ice rally is a thing but usually they are outside of town on some kind of actual track where the packed snow/ice makes more sense to be driving on. Compare this to a dirt rally ice track (which are some of the best ones) that take place in the wilderness and don't have a weird emissive glowing ice.
Oh man nothing feels more like a rally race than a LED glowing ice covered track in the middle of a city
What the hell happened to dirt...do they really think your rally car would handle on that type of surface? Rally cars aren't exactly known for their grip....
Dirt rally still hardest and best racing game ever though ... most fun is burnout takedown, I wouldn't call rally "fun" all the time.
The tone etc looks bad here but can we please stop acting like Hades is good? That game has the worst dialogue and jokes. I couldn't even finish the quick looks it was so annoying.
