@Sooty: Yes, restrict law abiding citizens from buying guns because criminals buy guns legally. Let's ignore that buying a gun legally puts you on record as the owner of said gun and that a criminal background check is run on you. That certainly makes a lot of sense. Oh, there aren't hundreds of thousands of guns legally owned. The crime statistics are not extremely low in comparison to the amount of people who legally own the guns. It is made even lower when considering that in some cases the guns that are legally owned are stolen.

Oh and what about all the instances in which an innocent life has been saved by a legal gun owner? Just recently there was a story in which a young boy saved himself and his two younger siblings by killing an armed robber with the family gun. The robber was armed with a gun as well but the boy shot before the robber did. The robber purchased the gun legally, I would guess, because that makes sense.

What have we established? Restrict the law abiding public from buying guns because criminals buy guns legally, apparently. Color me surprised.

This is not to say that legal gun owners never commit crimes, just that your reaction is unjustified.

Neither. Gun laws will be blamed first and have been blamed already. *sigh*

Being coerced by the government to do so isn't right, charity through personal initiative is.

I definitely agree with this, which is why I was laughing at the part I quoted.

I think you need to find someone who- Is willing to talk about problems, loyal, empathizes with you, willing to share in your joys as well as your pains, can/wants to pick you up when you fall, and you have to be willing to reciprocate. It's not really difficult if you love someone..

Those two are my least favorite action movie stars. I freaking hate them and their movies.
