I really enjoyed the 3-4 hours I spent with it last night.

My home planet is snowy and cold, but has a lot of variety. Flying around to find points of interest and getting upgrades from the inhabitants. I eventually flew to the space station, made some trades, and went back to discover all the species.

Finally accomplished that, got enough to buy a new ship, flew to the station again to do so. Now I'm on my second planet, and it's a desert full of cacti and flying snake dragons.

It is, first and foremost, an exploration game. And if you know that going in, and you're interested in seeing new vistas and finding new things, you'll have fun with it.

Winning the auction had nothing to do with the elusive target objectives.

Dan did grab the safe key, and was standing right in front of the safe at one point but didn't turn the camera enough.

From a Trophy Guide walkthrough: "There is a trick you can do during the last 8 seconds of the cutscene where you can attack the Firekeeper. Do not do this, as it'll give you a different ending and the trophy will not unlock."

There are three ending trophies, you were on the path to one of them.

Based on the name and thumbnail that was there, looked like it'd be Brad continuing with Dark Souls after he got stuck in the Painted World.

There's definitely missable trophies, and trophies you can lock yourself out of in a single playthrough, but as said above you will at least need to beat the game 3 times to get all the endings/items so you can always look up a FAQ on NG+ to focus on it.

By the end of the game you can have 15 flasks at +10 potency. Find those shards! :)

I love GTAIII and will (and just did) happily pay $15 to play it again and get some trophies along the way.

@sunbrozak: How do you unlock this one?

I am very excited! I know it's not the best MMO or the best Elder Scrolls game, but everything I have seen looks interesting enough and the lack of subscription fee makes it all the better.

It has something to do with that initial server check when you launch the game. If you disconnect your network you can get in without any problems (and then reconnect to your network). WB is finally starting to take notice of the issue.
