I was fucking baffled by the Republic being concentrated on a handful of planets in spitting distance of each other. We know planet killing weapons exist, we know there are evil militaries out there. Wtf even was the New Republic in the Disney Canon. May as well have never had the original trilogy at all. It took one button press to do what it took the prequel trilogy 3 films to build to. If I consider it a total reboot, a new universe with aesthetic references to the old one, maybe I can enjoy it enough to sit through ep 9 finally. It's rough if you want it to be an actual sequel as implied by the numbering system. I enjoyed the non mainline spinoffs quite a bit more. I'm still enjoying Mandalorian.
I enjoy couch vibes. I'm nostalgic for them. I'm excited to see where budget, creativity, function, and a return to a shared studio looks like at GB. The site has been a welcome support during this wild year.
They mentioned a new studio space being a bit larger after the move. I hope there is room for some v.r. coverage once sharing an office and equipment becomes possible again. The VRodeos always have me some joy and good insight into the v.r. experience.
I'm enjoying Genshinn Impact at the moment. Haven't put any money in. Gacha games have no hold over me! 5 and 6 year old little girls saw it, and flipped out. Tried it as their first non phone game. Caught on to the controls immediately, loved the character design and all the fancy dresses on the different girls you can play as. The climbing was intuitive. It's not BOTW, but it's nice, and good looking, if text and menu heavy.

I like Giant Bomb, this community, but it seems I am always seeing this discussion about how bad everything is in areas surrounding games media... While everyone is generally kind, sincere, and respectful. It's easy to shine a spotlight on the negative. It's even good to focus on so we may enact change rather than ignoring problems, but the people competing for the ad revenue we generate feed on anger and fear like fucking Sith vampires. They will do all in their power to make everyone feel like the world is falling apart... So stay tuned!

I grew up with DBZ, collecting tapes, DVDs and .AVIs. I watched through the sub of the full run last year, and I loved Super. I think they would dig watching it. I would eagerly enjoy new episodes of any GB anime pod. I loved their take on DB Kai.
