@sjwho2: Sony fans and/or Microsoft haters usually aren't very original.

I'm just glad these forums haven't turned into meme after meme by idiots who think they are funny or clever.

I'm sure there will be broken consoles. The Internet will have its share of meltdowns and people calling the problems RROD, the sequel.

The quick looks definitely helped.

I think I'm going with Dead Rising, Battlefield, Forza, Ghosts, and KI.

Just need my tracking information to be updated. Still stuck on "ready for ups"

Haven't been this excited about a new toy in a long time. Two more days.

I never really understood people jumping on the fighting game community bandwagon when it comes to every single fighting game.

Oh, this game sucks because the fighting game community doesn't like it.

Unless you're a part of that scene, why does it matter if those guys think a game is good or not? Those guys are analyzing games on a level that the average person can't come close to comprehending. Not every game needs to be tournament worthy.

Why not say the same for other genres? Oh, Killzone shadowfall isn't going to be played by the MLG guys and it won't be at any tournaments for shooters. That must mean it sucks, right? If the hardcore shooter players don't think it's worthy, then it's not worth my time.

I've seen enough at this point that KI seems interesting. I don't care that it may not be perfectly balanced or that it wont be played in tournaments. The combo system seems well thought out and the little touches like the music make it interesting.

it's also free to try and $20 if you want to commit. That seems more than fair for what it is.

@oginor: nope. Mine isn't even in the UPS system. Label created on 11/18 and still "ready for ups"

Hopefully I will have an update by tonight. Friday is not very far away.

@vanick: yeah, despite some polish and performance issues, it looks like a lot of fun.

The amount of zombies on screen is incredible.

@spongetwan: I'm still waiting for the tracking to update beyond "ready for ups"

Just want it to get in their system and Friday to be confirmed for delivery. Was concerned when you said yours is air saver while mine is ground. I'm sure it has to do with where they are shipping from.

Maybe it's just me feeling like an old man, but I don't think I would ever stream my own gameplay.

Who the hell would watch it?

This is the reason I don't stream my day-to-day gameplay, but I do like to stream things that I'm working on tough achievements/high scores for. It gives people a reason to watch and cheer you on, rather than just watching you stumble through a single-player campaign or play some directionless online matches or something. Like, when I get better at Resogun, I could see myself streaming some high-score runs for it, and I'd stream Spelunky all the time if that ever came to PS4.

Yeah, that's true.

What's bothering me more at this point is the 5 minute limit. I know you can just create multiple files, but it's a hassle.

I think I might just prefer the ability to take a raw file and share it wherever I want. Streaming is fine, but I don't think that footage gets archived. That's the bigger issue. Having people watching when you want to them to watch can be a problem. I'm much more likely to take that file to youtube or facebook and share it with friend that way. It's more convenient despite the extra steps needed.

Microsoft needs to get the twitch support in and Sony needs to give you the ability to take those 15 minutes files off the console since you can't share them with people that don't PS4s. Or allow uploading to youtube or facebook.

The PS4 seems to have a decent amount of options and it seems easy enough to find people who are streaming.

I think there is a subset of people that it really matters to and it's annoying that it isn't available at launch. More annoying is how much they hyped it and how close to launch they announced that it would be missing.

I do really like that you can save clips to sky drive and then do whatever you want from there. Sharing to sites like youtube and facebook seems like something more people would be interesting in doing. It's a few more hurdles that you have to jump through, but a decent quality 720p MP4 seems good for people who just want to share clips with people outside the console ecosystem.

@manhattan_project: Do we know when their review goes up? I thought the console embargo lifted sometime today. Really curious what conclusions some of the press are going to make about the system, but I also have a nefarious interest in the reviews as well. This is a douchey thing to say, but I really want the xbone to get a better score than the ps4, but not because I give a shit about one console over the other, its because I am jumping out of my chair excited for the possible butthurt that will result on GAF. Sometimes I think I can actually hear the mouth breathing behind some of the comments.

That being said I am getting both consoles

haha. I know what you mean. I have my PS4 already, but I would love to see the xbox one score higher just to see the reactions. Sony fans tend to overreact and the amount of threads they create on Neogaf attempting to justify their purchases is incredible.

Polygon giving it a higher score will cause a meltdown. I think reviews go up tonight at midnight eastern time.

Either way, tonight will be entertaining.

They have a better launch game line up, unless the UI/OS is horribly broken I can't see how it won't. They (Gies) already said that "720p doesn't matter" so no points deducted for that.

Yeah, I like the speed of the PS4 UI, but it's an unorganized mess that is missing a lot in terms of usability. The 360 still does a lot of things better than the PS4.

Somehow I don't see Microsoft messing up the things they've done right for years.

I'm more curious about the other stuff. They hyped up the multitasking, switching, voice recognition and a ton of other features. It simply does so much more than the PS4 and that could hurt it if those things don't live up to expectations.
