Can't watch the video right now but played about six levels at lunch. It feels off. I'm on an iPhone 7 and it just does not feel as responsive as it needs to be. There is a noticeable delay between presses to jump/action. The range of action to grab a ledge, parkour over an enemy feels far too large to make up for that delayed response. A few times I tried to wall-jump but found Mario stuck to the ledge when he should have easily jumped.
But i'll be honest, I am biased. I have not liked any of the modern runners. It is just not something I enjoy.
I'll wait until they give us a proper Picross phone game. Something really meant for a mobile experience. Then i'll be really excited.
